Business insurance

Coverage for the business you actually run

Not a generic package quoted in ten minutes. We ask what the work is, which carriers write that trade, and where a claim would actually land — then build from there.

Commercial lines we write

  • Commercial insurance

The package view: how liability, property, and the trade-specific endorsements assemble into one program — start here if you want the whole picture.

  • General liability

The baseline. Covers bodily injury and property damage claims that come out of the work you do and the premises you run.

  • Commercial property

The building, what is inside it, and — the part that gets skipped — the income the business loses while covered damage is being repaired.

  • Workers compensation

Required for most Oklahoma employers. Premiums ride on classification codes, and misclassified payroll is the most common overcharge we see.

  • Business owner's policy

Property and liability packaged for smaller operations. When your business fits the box, it is the efficient way to buy both.

Healthcare practices

Dedicated risk work for small independent practices — family medicine, dental, chiropractic, counseling and therapy, and ambulatory surgery centers. A different register from the rest of this hub on purpose; see the healthcare practices hub.

What insurance does a small business in Oklahoma need?

Most Oklahoma small businesses start with general liability, add workers compensation once they have employees, and cover owned buildings, equipment, or inventory with commercial property. Smaller operations often buy the first and last together as a business owner's policy. Contracts and landlords frequently dictate minimum limits before the law does.

Past that baseline it depends on the trade — commercial auto, professional liability, cyber — and that is a conversation, not a checklist. Bring a contract you have been asked to sign and we will read the insurance requirements section with you.

For the household side — home, auto, umbrella — see personal insurance. Most owners end up with both sides of the shop and one advisor.

Send the current policy. We'll read it.

A declarations page and ten minutes on the phone is enough to know whether your coverage matches the business it is supposed to protect.
